The Woodside Elementary School Jazz Band, under the direction of Beth Dameron, is the most prominent performing group at the school. It is made up of 6th-8th grade students who demonstrate dedication and strong work ethic by rehearsing before school twice each week, learning music for several different performances that bring the school and Woodside community together. The First Friday performance will include music from several genres, with a strong focus on jazz, and that demonstrates musical evolution through several decades.
